Introduced in "Strawberry Shortcake: Pets on Parade" (1982). Angel Cake's hair was often depicted as a lavender color in print and on television, but the dolls and toys made by Kenner had white hair. In 2000, the new Angel Cake is blonde and possesses a tremendous talent for cake decoration. However she is also known to be a perfectionist. Her neighborhood in Strawberryland is called Cakewalk, and is a frosting-coated layer cake testament to her abilities. In the 1980s her pet is Souffle' skunk but in 2000, her pet is a lamb called Vanilla Icing. Her filly is Milkshake. |
